Snake Overlay is a browser extension that lets users play a cursor-following pixel Snake game on top of webpages. This privacy policy explains what data the extension handles.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal or browsing data. Snake Overlay does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or remote servers.

Local Storage

The extension uses chrome.storage.local to store only the following information on your device:

• Your high score
• Your game settings (selected skin, speed, food count, particle effects, trail effects, grid visibility, and opacity)

This data stays on your computer and is never sent to us or any third party.

Page Interaction

The extension can inject a game overlay onto the active webpage only after you explicitly click the extension icon and toggle the game on. The extension does not read, modify, monitor, or interact with page content unless you activate it.

Network Requests

The extension popup loads Google Fonts stylesheets for visual styling. No other external network requests are made.
